Lagos de Moreno gets a multisensorial room from Rotary International

9 de junio de 2017.- The Lagos Rotary Clubs of Moreno and Brea, California delivered the reception of the Multisensory Stimulation Room located in the Regional Rehabilitation Unit (URR) to the Municipal DIF.

With this new area of therapy and rehabilitation, those who have specific conditions in touch, hearing, sight and smell, among others, can be treated.

The project was budgeted at 35 thousand and 250 dollars, of which the Municipal Government contributed five thousand and the rest, that is 30 thousand 250 dollars , the international body through its clubs and landed with the Global Grant GG 1527131.

He took advantage of his intervention to ratify the organization’s willingness to support more benefit projects for Lagos de Moreno.

The President of the Municipal DIF, Rosa María Zárate Cedillo, thanked the ‘Rotary family’ for having decided to benefit the society of Lagos de Moreno.

“With this team of tools that will be part of the particular plan of many people, since our purpose is to contribute to the hope that people will be realized regardless of social, economic, religious or partisan status,” she emphasized.

Meanwhile, Mayor Juan Alberto Márquez de Anda said: “Lagos de Moreno is no stranger to state and national statistics that almost five percent of the population has a type of disability and I tell the society Front, the government can´t act alone, nor can these families, somebody has to help them, and we have to be as one, we have to be the people that we have to be supportive and be brothers”.
